I make dinner every night with some type of meat because it’s great for left overs for the next day. I haven’t quite gotten to the point of making all my meals on Sunday because 3 day old chicken just tastes gross to me! So the other night I made turkey burgers. Normally I try to stay away from breads besides Ezekiel bread but I just had to get some yummy buns for these burgers. It’s REALLY easy to make and super delicious so you should definitely try it out:

Ingredients are really easy and you can really spice it how you want but I use a tiny bit of olive oil, some water (not pictured), red pepper flakes, garlic salt and pepper. It would be super good with grilled onions and mushrooms or bell peppers but I was in a rush so I stuck with the basics.

Then just cook them until they are brown and there is no pink in the middle. I put some little cuts in the middle of the burger just because it helps it get cooked all the way through…also why I use water and cover the pan with a lid so it kind of steams them.

You can add any toppings you like. Tomatoes and lettuce were the quick and easy way to dress up the burgers but you can always add onions or peppers or any other vegetables you can think of!

MMM! Delicious and filling and healthy burgers. The total calories for these specific ones without extra toppings is about 360 calories. Enjoy!
Can I just say I love my phone?? The pics are so clear and bright and yeah, just awesome.
