Blueberry Protein Shake

Hi all! I thought I would start copying and pasting my www.lizzyfitness.com posts to blogger just for fun in case some of my readers don't know about my site :)

So I finally got my protein in the mail a few days ago and finally tried it out last night after my workout. First of all, you really can’t go wrong with vanilla flavored anything and it mixes great with any fruit. The only thing (that wasn’t freezer burned) that I could find was blueberries so Blueberry Protein shake it was. I found it to be really refreshing and delicious so I snapped some pics so that I could share it with you! All you need is your vanilla protein of choice, fruit of choice, about a cup of milk and I added some water but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Also you can add ice if your fruit isn’t frozen :)
I’m excited to try it with strawberries (my favorite fruit) and banana. And in case you missed my profound post (ha) on protein you can read that HERE. It just kind of explains my thoughts on protein, types of protein powders and that kind of thing. On a side note, today is Friday and I’m SO happy. I need to catch up on sleep and get my workout routine on schedule. Tomorrow is leg day – the most tiring workout day ever invented ;) This post is short because I have a long day ahead but I will leave you with this pretty picture from yesterday as I was walking out of work to head home. HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!
